Stay-Focused conducts twelfth program!

From July 6 - 11, Stay-Focused conducted its second Reunion trip of the summer, bringing back five college women – one who just graduated from Penn State and 4 who attend the University of Arizona.

The Stay-Focused Experience

The five Stay-Focused alumnae who participated in the program are: Jackie Cimino, Jackie Daya, Eve Hampton, Jess Radmilovic and Maggie Redden. Ryan Chalmers, who served as the first Stay-Focused mentor during the program that ended a few days prior stayed on and joined the group as well.

Leading the Program

Joining the group were: Founder/President, Roger Muller, Medical Advisor, Dr. JenFu Cheng, Program Manager / Dive Instructor, Richard Smart, and Dive Instructors Marty Banks and Tony Chisholm. Stay-Focused Advisor and Swim Coach Trisha Yurochko rounded out the team.

Note: Just prior to the start of the program, JenFu Cheng achieved his Rescue Diver certification and during the program, Trisha Yurochko advanced to Advanced Open Water Diver. Congratulations JenFu and Trisha!

Ambassadors of the Environment

Thanks to generous support provided by the Ambassadors of the Environment program at the Ritz-Carlton, we participated in a team-building, kayaking trip hosted by Mike Naugle. We ventured into the Mangrove Forest and communed with Nature … but ultimately, we ended up in paddle splashing contests. Many thanks to Mike and Program Director, Denise Naguib for offering the group this fun-filled afternoon!

Cayman Island Helicopters

Among the activities we enjoyed during the week, new this year was an amazing tour of the island from a helicopter. Thanks to support provided by Cayman Islands Helicopters, this was the second Stay-Focused group to enjoy the experience. Many thanks to Nathalie and Jerome for joining the ranks of Stay-Focused sponsors!

Sunrise Adult Training Centre

Our ongoing partnership with the Sunrise Adult Training Centre in Grand Cayman continues to inspire Sunrise clients to try SCUBA diving. Photographed below are Anita Ebanks and Dalton Bromley, who participated in a Discover SCUBA experience during the program.
