Stay-Focused conducts ninth program!

This was our largest group of first-time divers (one more than July '06), and included four young women from the same university - U of Arizona! But let's not leave out Penn State!

The Stay-Focused Experience

The six divers who participated in the program are: Jackie Cimino, Jackie Daya, Eve Hampton, Jess Radmilovic, Maggie Redden, and Carlana Stone.

Leading the Program

Joining the group were: Roger Muller, Founder / President of Stay-Focused, Trisha Yurochko, Swim Coach/Advisor, Richard Smart, Program Manager/Diving Instructor, and Marty Banks and Tony Chisholm, Diving Instructors. And, as always, Chris Brandson, Stay-Focused videographer.

DIVER

As we do on each trip with first-time divers, we contemplated the acronym DIVER, as it pertained to our experience as a group, and assigned the following words to each letter:

This group was a bit older than previous ones and quite moved by the experience. As a result, they described the trip as both deep and intense. It was indeed a victorious group, sailing through the academic portions of the program and ramping up quickly on their diving skills. The beautiful blue water surrounding Grand Cayman provided an enchanting backdrop for an otherwise exciting and riveting experience.

Parasailing Professionals

Having recently partnered with Parasailing Professionals (and bought our own parasail) to raise funds and build awareness for Stay-Focused, this was the first group to take a ride on the Stay-Focused parasail.
