| Stay-Focused conducts fourth program! In April of 2005, Stay-Focused conducted its first program in its second year of operation. We were back in Grand Cayman (April 16-21), with Mary-Christine Beck (17), her sister Katelynne (16), and Lauren Roseman (18). The Stay-Focused Experience Mary-Christine (aka MC) and Lauren, who are both mobility-challenged, brought tremendous energy and enthusiasm to the program. Along with Katelynne, the three girls pushed through their SCUBA certifications with ease. And, they did so while laughing all the time! Congratulations to Mary-Christine, Lauren, and Katelynne for successfully completing their PADI open-water SCUBA diving certification! Leading the Program Leading the program were Stay-Focused Founder/President Roger Muller, Program Manager and Dive Instructor Richard Smart, Dive Instructor Marty Banks, and Medical Advisor Dr. Casey O’Donnell. We were also joined by Judie Clee, a volunteer with the Reef Environmental Education Fund (REEF), who talked with us about the marine environment and fish behavior based, in large part, on her experience as a diver and researcher.

DIVER Consistent with all our trips, we pondered the acronym, DIVER, and decided the words we liked best were: D Determined As has been true of all Stay-Focused divers, MC, Lauren, and Katelynne were very determined and focused on successfully completing their certification. It was indeed an interactive group, perhaps the most “chatty” we’ve had so far. Obviously, these three emerged feeling victorious. Energy … there was plenty of that – and, indeed, it was an experience to be remembered. Roger Muller
